Colour Coated Roofing Sheets Weight

The weight of colour coated roofing sheets can be roughly estimated with the following formula:

Thickness (mm) * Width (m) * Length (m) * 7.85 = (kg/pcs)

Note: 7.85 is the density of iron, which means per cubic meter of iron weighs 7.85 tons. Due to the color steel roof is mainly made of iron. We still use the number for reference.

For example, if your colour roofing sheet is 0.48 mm in thickness, 1 m in overall width, 1.8 m in length, the weight of each piece is about 6.78 kg (0.48*1*1.8*7.85). If you order 3000 pieces, the total weight is about 20 tons. Then it requires a 20GP container for shipping.
